Anth 4200/4240; 6200/6240: Field school in Archaeology
The application deadline is April 1st 2015. We will, however, begin reviewing and accepting applicants immediately. The instructors will make final decisions regarding enrollment. A short interview (in person or by phone) and/or reference letters (emails) may be requested. No prior experience necessary, but preference will be given to anthropology majors and those with previous field experiences.
Dr. Thompson will notify you if accepted into the program. Only those students who are accepted may enroll in the field school.
Students will enroll in both ANTH 4200/6200 Field Methods in Archaeology and ANTH 4240/6240 Laboratory Methods in Anthropology for a total of 12 credit hours.

15 We will be offering two field schools this summer, one based on Ossabaw Island on the Georgia Coast with Dr. Thompson and one based at the Raccoon Ridge site with Dr. Birch.
