One of UGA's 2015 Archaeological Field School will take place on the Georgia Atlantic Coast on Sapelo and Ossabaw Island. Protected by the state of Georgia, Sapelo and Ossabaw are large barrier island in Georgia. Both islands boast a variety of environments from tidal wetlands and beaches to maritime forests.
